Sensuous Mysticism, intended to raise questions about the nature of human sensuality in the context of religious longing. All of the world’s major religions cherish traditions of mystical writings that glorify God through the longing of the body. These works, using materials from tar to fabric to gold, bring the imagery of the sensual body and passages from mystical poets throughout history into the contemporary dialogue between body and spirit.

DarkScapes These oil paintings emerge out of my exploration of the depths of a living between inner and outer landscapes. Here, more than a daylight view, there is mystery. The mountains speak, the trees whisper. I feel the feminine presence of nature’s and my own unconscious forces.
